Feeding/Handling

General Feeding Instructions

Actual amounts will depend upon the age, activity level and metabolism of your dog. Remember each and every dog is different and may not follow the guidelines listed below. Please treat each dog as an individual and be sure to provide plenty of clean water at all times.

Approximately 4-8 ozs/day/25 lbs dog wt
(Mature, Overweight & Low Metabolism)

Approximately 6-10 ozs/day/15 lbs dog wt
(Active, Working & Medium Metabolism)

Approximately 8-16 ozs/day/15 lbs dog wt
(Puppy, Underweight & High Metabolism)

Storage/Handling Instructions

Keep frozen until ready to feed.
Thaw overnight in refrigerator or unopened in bowl of tepid water.
Nature’s Intent must be handled like all other fresh meat products (wash all surfaces before/after handling, do not re-freeze, and keep refrigerated at all times.)

Always provide your dog with plenty of fresh, clean water.

WARNING: Do not feed frozen

Nature’s Intent can be safely kept Frozen: 12-18 months in the freezer
Thawed: 3-5 days in the refrigerator
